Highly sensitivity and anti-jamming capability are always crucial specifations for receiver in modern electronic communication and EW. Gyromagnetic band reject filter has properties of wide frequency band, deep depth, wide reject band and tunable frequency in wide band. It can be used in radar receiver for select useful signal and filter undesired signal especially interference signal.The coupled microwave frequency will changed when the outer magnetic filed varied. As the filter fine linearity, equipped with digital driver, the filter frequency can be adjusted easily. Variable bandwidth technology has proposed for the requirements of complex signal process.Normal gyromagnetic band reject filter is un-tunable and the reject bandwidth is approximately identical at different frequency and temperature. With the development of receiver technology, the radar system requires tunable reject bandwidth to enhance the anti-jamming of receiver.This project designed a novel type of band reject filter and its reject bandwidth can be tunable based the technology of magnetic circuit integration which principle is design two channel band reject filter and use one channel to tune the other one to reach two filter cascade, thus the bandwidth can be adjusted.In conclusion, this article mainly introduce design flow and structure principle of 8~12GHz wide band YIG reject filter, especially tunable microwave filter structure design, high stability digital YIG driver simulation and design, frequency bandwidth control technology and temperature compensation.
