With the development of China's economy, people's life and work become faster and faster, and pressure is increasing, cause higher and higher incidence of cardiovascular diseases which now becomes the first killer of health. It is significant to get the heart information by ECG for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. However, traditional ECG devices only owned by middle and large scale hospitals couldn't test people, especially the patients with heart disease at any time and any places. So it requires the traditional ECG devices to miniaturize.The mini ECG devices selling in the market are usually made up of the ECG acquisition unit which acquires the ECG signal and processing-display unit which processes and displays the ECG signal. Their volume meets the requisition of miniaturization, but their ECG acquisition and processing-display unit are all-in-one device, which makes the ECG acquisition unit and processing-display unit specialization, especially the processing-display unit could not base on the existing mature platform with a variety of usage, which increased the development cost and use cost and also resulted in high prices which could not be afforded by lower classes families. The study of the subject "The Realization of Android-Based ECG Device" is a mini ECG device based on the existing mature platform with a variety of usage and Bluetooth Transmission, effectively reduces the cost, it'possible to be afforded by lower classes families.This paper mainly focuses on the design and realization of the android processing-display unit. Firstly, we described the current background of the ECG device and put forward our solutions:then brielly described the composition of the system and the software design of processing-display unit, including software function modules, interfaces and control processes; after that, we detailed the principle and software realization of the Android Bluetooth communication and ECG waveform display, introduced the realization of file storage and file management.; finally, summarized the entire system, concluded the deficiency and experience of the research and looked into the future research.
