The Cnstruction And Transformation Of Softsitch-based Next Generation Network In Jinan Unicom

NGN (Next Generation Network) is an integrated network framework based on softswitch core.which can provide voice,data, multimedia and other services.NGN is a communications technology development direction and has been of great concern to the industry since NGN concept is proposed.With the maturity of the soft switching technology and NGN applications of the backbone network development, NGN has been introduced into the construction of Jinan Unicom exchange network.The paper takes the NGN switching network construction of Jinan Unicom as an example, combining with the background of Jinan Unicorn's network status and market demand, the local NGN construction and transformation plan of Jinan Unicom is designed and presented.Firstly, the thesis descries the overview of NGN technology briefly including NGN concept, network architecture, domestic, foreign status and the key study of NGN softswitch technology, combining with the network status of Jinan Unicom, the paper presents the necessity and feasibility of soft-switching construction.Secondly,the thesis proposes the construction and transformation design scheme of the local network, including the transformation of the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network), QOS(Quality of Service) deployment, the desing of network security issues and so on, which verifies the feasibility of NGN technical evolution.Finally, the thesis analyzes the exsting problem in NGN construction of Jinan and discusses the further work and research.
