Video Surveillance industry, which weighed most in the whole security industry, has been experiencing great development recent years, due to boost requirement from traffic, public security and financial institutions. However, the development of video surveillance system is restricted to the network communication, where series of functions could be improved.Aiming to strengthening the performance of video surveillance system, this paper conducts research from three aspects. Firstly, we classify and analyze overlay network multicast protocols, and get the result that Overlay Network Multicast is the most appropriate technology. Secondly, according to the problem of path selection method, we propose a new Optimal Reference Path selection method based on the algorithm calculation, which works more efficiently in packet loss rate and network transmission width. Thirdly, this paper presents a novel and flexible policy based context-aware management architecture that automates the adaptive management task of overlay networks, which works more efficiently in terms of adaptive organization. |
