| With the development of computer technology, video producing which only can be done by TV station becomes simple and easy-used because of the generating of video editing tools. Video editing tools are well developed, after the tools based on PC being used and on-line tools based web technology being widespread. Till now, with the success trying of several video editing tools, enterprise-level on-line video editing systems began to develop.In order to be more professional and easier, as well as providing better interaction experience when users playing videos, video metadata which can provide more details plays a more and more important role in video editing systems.Although there are many research on how to use video metadata, there isn't a unified rule or standard, also the applications of video metadata in the whole business workflow are still in trying and waiting for something new. In this background, the main work in this paper is:1)learning the related research of video metadata in and abroad; 2)thinking about the characteristic of sports video editing system; 3)comparing with other similar systems; 4)proposing an application solution of sports video metadata in on-line sports video editing system.Specifically, the research includes the following areas:designing of metadata format, storage and management of metadata, full-text searching and results clustering on metadata based on Apache Solr, editing of metadata in on-line sports video editing system, video player for metadata display etc. The format of sports video metadata is trying to be standardized, and a complete solution which covers format designing, management, searching and results clustering, editing and presentation is proposed.The solution proposed by this paper has the feature of targeted, comprehensive and easy-implemented. The sections of this research can be used in other similar systems directly or after a few changes. Thus, the results of this research have a reference value and a general significance in practice. |
