Along with quick life steps, how to meet the demand of persons that with special shapes for comfort and artistic seems to be more and more important. It is very necessary to develop an auxiliary special shape customers shopping decision-making model, then customize apparel for these customers based on their individual body models.It applies model division to divide a human body model into several independent parts, and then applies Dirichlet Free-Form Deformation to operate these parts deforming. At last, joint all the deformed parts of human body models to turn them into integrated special shape models, and all the special shape models make up a special shape model database. Then an automatic individual pattern-generated system based on geometric constraint graph is designed and developed in order to generate individual patterns which fit customers' body shape. The main work is follows:(1) Use DFFD to implement special body shape deformation on 3D human body and model division is also used to accelerate the deformation process. After finish the special shape deformation of the divided parts, with the method of jointing all the divided parts to get a large number of integrated special shape models, a special shape model database is set up.(2) Make use of existing model, it defines measure points and lines, then get girth information by make cross-section to the model, and use gift-wrapping to get real body measurements. Methods of special body shape apparel patterns correction by using body measurements are summarized.(3) A parametric apparel pattern model based on constraint graph is designed, it can be automatically adjusted to fit customers' body shape according to the body measurements parameters and special body shapes. After that, the automatic process of generation of parametric apparel pattern model and adjustment of the model are implemented by AutoCAD VBA operated by C#.(4) A digitalized apparel customization system for special shape based on personalized made-to-measure is designed and implemented. It provides significant reference for business applications of personal made-to-measure apparel customizing, and has great value to research and popularization of P-MTM.As main part of P-MTM, digitalized apparel customization systems will promote the development of individual made to measure for garniture.
