With industrial control theory and technology continues to progress, Fieldbus technology in the field control layer has been development rapidly. And now it has become the core technology of industrial site.especially the HART communication standard has got more and more support for its openess and superiority in protecting the user's investment. With the development of Fieldbus technology, there has been mangy kinds of Fieldbus allied in different areas, most of them has their own advantages in particular applications, and have gain their own market share. In a particular big system, there always has several kinds of fieldbus standards. Due to the differents in the communication techmology, the data couldn't transmite among them transparently. We need a unified standard that could integrated the system without any gap. For series of reasons, the Ethernet communicatio and OPC techmology are getting more and more attention. In this paper, we introduced the background of our research and the signaficance at first, then we introduced the Ethernet communication for commercial uses and the real time technology. After that, we specified the development of our embeded TCP/IP stack. We developped our stack according to the OSI reference model, and all of our stack is developped in C programmar langurage.Due to the limited resources, the difference in the operating system and the real-time and security performances, we designed and implement a new TCP/IP stack. We developped our stack according to the OSI reference model, and all of our stack is developped in C programmar langurage. The data transported by the Indusrial Ethernet always take part in the the control process loop circuit, so there are strict real-time performance requirment and reliable quota for them. The analysis of the real-time performance of the network is neccesary for the research. In the forth chapter of this paper, several methods are proposed to solve the real-time performance problem. In the end of our paper, we specified the development of application software involved the OPC technology. After all of the work above, a integrated system use the industrial Ethernet communication and the OPC technoloy has been constructed preliminarily.
