"Printed electronics" uses various printing techniques to form the electronic components and circuits of electronic products. Squeezing piezoelectric nozzle is one of the nozzles used in printing electronic Today most of the electronic products are produced by using inorganic silicon etching minus processing which is complex, long production period, material waste and hard to realize the diversity of electronic products. Printing electronics is a bonus method technology which forms conductive graphic selectively with conductive metal on insulating substrate surface. The nozzle is considered to be the core of printing electronic equipment. The study of nozzle is important to electronic printing. This paper bases on the theoretical analysis combined with numerical simulation. First introduce the research and development of the current status of ink-jet printing technology at home and abroad. Then discuss the present ink-jet printing technology and the characteristics of continuous ink jet and on-demand inkjet. Extrusion type piezoelectric ink-jet technology is finally selected as the subject technology. At last analyze the influence of piezoelectric nozzle structure size, inlet pressure and viscosity on the performance of the jet The structure and the working condition optimizing design are also discussed. In this paper we use Gambit and Fluent to simulate different sizes of the print head. The pressure distribution, velocity distribution and so on inside the print head were shown under a certain pressure conditions. JET-600C and water were used as materials to simulate the jet velocity. We find that frustum is the best print head shapes. We have gained a lot of data about the parameters from the simulation. These will help us transform the print head. As long as the appropriate pressure settings and the flow rate changed, the droplet will be better patterned. This will guide Our following tasks.
