Society and science has made rapid progress with each passing day, and people's living standard and production capacity has had a perceptible improvement.Those are all inseparable from the refrigeration industry,whether cooling or heating in living,or making frozen or fresh-keeping of special materials or pharmaceuticals in manufacture.As the main force of the refrigeration industry,the air-conditioning industry has had a rapid improvement.In recent years,multi-connected air-conditioning units has been gradually dominated the Chinese market.The traditional room split air conditioner is made up of one outdoor unit and one indoor unit,otherwise,the multi-connected air-conditioning units can connect one or more outdoor units to many indoor units.It can be combined flexibly and be controlled easily.It's designing,installation,operation and maintenance management are more simple,convenient,and energy-saving.There are many variables to be controlled for the multi-connected air-conditioning units,and the controlling opertion should be performed fine,the multi-connected air-conditioning units connect a large number of outdoor and indoor units,have many complex controlling contents, so the quality requirements to the software is even higher for the the multi-connected air-conditioning units.Meanwhile, if we use the actual air-conditioning indoor and outdoor units for software testing, we will not only need many indoor and outdoor air-conditioners, but also have to spend a lot of manpower and time to connect refrigerant pipes and charge the refrigerant.In order to ensure software quality,make satisfied products for the customer, and establish a good reputation in the industry, the air-conditioner enterprise must finish the software test quickly and efficiently.In order to meet the demands of software testing, this thesis research and design a new software monitoring platform for the the multi-connected air-conditioning units, and use this platform to test the software of a newly developed multi-connected air-conditioning units. The following issues were encountered and solved in the process of the test platform establishing and the software testing.At first, this thesis design a multi-connected air-conditioning units testing platform which simulate the actual unites to do software testing.And the testing platform use anolog input with rheostat, and anolog output with LED lights, simple switches to simulate the action of the protection devices, which can not only saves materials and labor costs, save time and space, but also can protect the environment without charging refrigerant.Secondly, J-LINK is the communication protocol between the indoor and outdoor units of the multi-connected air-conditioning units to be tested. The ultimate aim is to use the computer as a test terminal to monitor the air-conditioner's running status and parameters.And the serial communication is widely used between the computer and external devices. So, we chose the computer's existing serial ports to receive the data, which is a relatively simple solution. In this article, the commonly-used serial communication RS232-C is adopted. In order to use the computer's serial port to receive RS232-C format data directly, the multi-connected air-conditioning units' J-LINK protocol data should be converted to RS232-C format which can be directly received by the computer. This thesis design a data convert module to perform the convertion between the J-LINK and RS232-C format data.In addition, a data monitoring software should be developed in order to show the parameters realtime on the computer. After received the converted data from the data convert module through computer's serial port, the software can real-time display all parameters, can do query and save parameters any time, and do some other operations.Finally, with continuous launching of new multi-connected air-conditioning units, more attentions are paid to the software verification. It's the first time to use this testing platform to simulate the actual multi-connected air-conditioning units for software testing, to receive data through the serial port, to real time monitor the multi-connected air-conditioning units'running status and important parameters. A multi-connected air-conditioning units'software had been verified by using this testing platform. Maybe other software testing of new developed multi-connected air-conditioning units can get reference from this subject.
