Research And Design Of Book Management System Based On Data Mining

University Library provides readers with services on books and other information resourcefor university teaching and research. With the improvement of education and the growth in thenumber of students, the higher requirements have been made for retrieving the books andothers information resource, so the library services need to convert from traditional manualservice to digital, intelligence service. At present, the majority of university libraries haveimplemented a digital library and network service, readers can reserve, retrieve books online, butthe personalized service for readers is not high enough, it is not yet fully realizing the scientificand intelligent library management in these digital library. In this paper, a library managementbased on data mining is proposed to solve these problems, it can get the association informationin the library circulation data and provide the reader with personalized service, provide managerwith information for others decisions. In this paper, the two aspects work as follows:1) Through analysis on the architecture and function of the current library managementsystems, the library services is set on one server which provides information services for all tasks,so with adding of others function modules and increasing on the number of readers, the speed ofinformation retrieval is decreased and the performance of library system degraded, therefore, thepaper studies on the establishment of the basic services and data mining service on librarymanagement system which is lied on different server, it realizes the information transmissionbetween different service nodes by the Web Services.2) The paper analyses the data on the existing library management system analysis, designsWeb services for data mining which can realize the personalized service and scientificmanagement decisions. the interesting of readers for book borrow is got by association rulemining algorithm, according to the interesting of readers, the associated book will berecommended to them, otherwise the readers cluster and books cluster can provide the decisioninformation for the book purchase and book layout on library management.
