Design And Implementation Of Integrated Information Management System For College Students

While the number of college students in our country increased rapidly in the past teen years, the management of student information became more and more difficulty. Most traditional managements are manual, which is inefficient, hard to update and maintain, and can not meet today's teaching requirements.This project is to develop a student synthetic information management system for the Chongqing Institute of Information Technology. The system is developed with computer network technology and information systems technology, to improve student information management, provide users with timely and accurate information, and achieve automatic information management of student information.This thesis first introduces the needs of the information management of the school, and gives the analysis of the school's organizational structure and the processes of information management, then presents the detailed system analysis and design based on UML modeling technology. Finally, a B/S based college student information management system is implemented with Dreamweaver CS4 as the developing tool, Microsoft ACCESS 2010 as the database management system, and the role-based access control and database access object model technology. The testing and trial operation of the system indicate that our system can better meet the needs of the student information management, and has some practical value.By developing this student information management system, I learned that the use of UML modeling techniques, RUP methodology, and some other software reuse technologies can greatly improve the efficiency and quality of software development.
