Objective Voice Quality Evaluation Technology Research. Communication System

With the rapid development of communication technology and communication services, the assessment of performance of the communication system has been promoted. An exactitude speech assessment is the key technology which can improve the performance of the communication system. Therefore, there is a gread demand to develop a speech objective evaluation system, which is convient, flexible and reliable. In this dissertation, the principle and the research progress of the speech objective assessment are described. And the classification and the performance of a few objective meaures are introduced, in which the perceptual speech quality measure (PESQ) model is formulated in detail. At last, the speech objective evaluation system based on digital signal processing (DSP) module is researched,the hardware and software structure of the system is presented, in which the data acquisition module, the communication interface module and the acoustic code module are investigated detailedly. All of these researches make it clear that the speech objective assessment system can be realized base on DSP module.In this dissertation, the development of speech objective assessment's technology is introduced firstly, which include the arithmetic of perceptual speech quatity measurement (PSQM), Auditory Distance/Measuring Normalizing Block (AD/MNB), perceptual audio quatity measurement (PAQM), perceptual evaluation of speech quatity (PESQ) and so on. And based on the development of speech objective assessment, the contents and ranges of the study are determined. Then a collection, analysis and discuss for all the relative technology have been made, furthermore, the system of speech objective assessment's technology has been investigated. At last, the speech objective assessment system based on the PESQ has been designed and demonstrated.The contributions of this paper are list as follows. Around the title, the relevant speech assessment technology, stardard are systematically analyzed. And then based on the PESQ, the problem of speech objective assessment technology has been solved, which was ever the weakness that our corporation's actually faced. The practice of this study is guaranteed to achieve actual effect to effectively support all-around communition system.
