Settlement Center Accounting System Based On C / S Model Design And Realization

With the rapid development of information technology, the process of constructing"digital campus"has been further accelerated. The information system, which has been structured by the advanced information technology, has raised the working efficiency and standardized the management of each section on campus. The financial settlement center in our university, founded in the 1990s, can never meet the needs of present services. Moreover, several problems brought by the old system have resulted in a series of negative impacts. In order to standardize the relevant services more efficiently, a new information system should be restructured to meet the needs of the development of services.The founding of financial settlement center is a breakthrough of the capital management in our university. The center has played positive roles in raising the overall utilization rate and its efficiency. In order to realize a sound capital management, in the early 1990s our financial settlement center established the information management system, which has been under service for almost 20 years till now. During its 20-year service, quite a few problems and drawbacks have been exposed, for example, due to the early lagged-behind development technology, the system relies so much on both the soft ware and hard ware of the early version, which results in a fact that the system cannot be used within one network service between different campuses. Another example is that a lack of consideration of the safety of capital data management makes it difficult for service expand and system maintenance.The thesis analyzes the function and present state of information construction of campus financial settlement center, and studies and develops a information system fit for the service management of financial settlement center via such technologies as demand analysis, overall design, detailed design, coding and system testing from the concept of software engineering. The newly established information system was based on C/S model; the cross-network between different campuses adopts hardware VPN connection; to use the concept of object-oriented programming and Microsoft Visual Studio C#.net to do program development; to adopt the relational database Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as data saving; to use Database Access Interface Technology ADO.net to realize a sound accounting system of financial settlement center.Major modules of this system include current account, current deposit, account-open, account-close, account-change, daily statement, account-query, account-introduction, yearly-settlement, customer management, interest management, operator management, print management, data backup, etc. After this system has been accomplished development, tested by relevant personnel, set up and arranged, it can be formally put into operation. The utilization of the new system has solved the problems of the early system, met the needs of the present services, taken full consideration of the system safety and further put forward the information construction of accounting management as well as standardized and perfected the services of financial settlement center in our university. Through the previous accumulated work, the thesis, in the final analysis, sums up the whole study and looks forward to the future development. A tentative exploration is expected to undertake so as to build a road of information construction suitable to the development of campus financial settlement center.
