Food safety is an important part of protecting the lives of ordinary people. In recent years, food safety incidents have caused great concern around us. Due to lacking of technical assistance to monitor the food health hazards, universal testing can not detect each kind of food, tracking events for food complaint documents based on Ontology is to extract and classify food hazard information of the documents and then to further conduct analysis and research in this domain.In this paper, according to the classifications of food domain Ontology, the food domain Ontology was constructed based on the seven step method by setting the division of class layer in Ontology construction, the definition and constraints of class described the process of construct the food domain Ontology. We constructed the food domain Ontology that combined with concepts, relationship and instances. The Racer reasoner tested the accuracy and consistency of it.Tracking events for food complaint documents based on Ontology is a series of research and analysis about the food complaint documents. In the extraction process of hazard information, this paper extracted center words of hazard information with the time distribution by extracting time of the food's hazard information and using the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Lexical Analysis System ICTCLAS, Hownet semantic similarity calculation and this paper constructed the thesaurus to remove the synonyms of hazard information of food; in the classification of hazard information, meanwhile the template was developed. Then the paper classified center words of hazard information with the time distribution to 5 different types of food hazards by keywords matching and Hownet semantic similarity calculation. Then hazard information of food was researched and analyzed by showing graphical images of the time of incidents of food hazards. In the end, this paper played an important role on warning and monitoring safe emergencies of food.
