Audio power amplifier is an important component of integrated circuits, widely used in consumer electronic products. China is the world's largest consumer electronics market, increasing demand for audio amplifier, audio power amplifier so the research is important.Among the many power amplifier, D audio power amplifier power amplifier efficiency is much higher than the efficiency of simulation class, usually 80% or more. This design of a portable audio electronic products used in Class D power amplifier. The first compares various types of power amplifiers and analysis of their advantages and disadvantages of Class D power amplifier principle a detailed analysis. In considering the circuit power consumption, efficiency, performance and other factors, based on each module are analyzed, design and simulation, including references, operational amplifiers, comparators, triangular wave oscillator output driver circuit . And the use of full-bridge output structure to improve the output power and efficiency.Based on the analysis of the various modules in the design objectives to optimize its parameters given based on Hspice simulation results. Circuit simulation using 0.18μm CMOS process, the results show that the designed circuit in the power of 5V, 8-ohm load conditions, the output power greater than 1.2W, the power efficiency greater than 80%. The Class D audio amplifier design completion, the circuit design to meet the requirements.
