Application of three-dimensional GIS technology, virtual 3D technology and underground personnel positioning technology, developed the underground mining three-dimensional positioning and automatic monitoring system,made the mining activities digital,visualization,records and shows the changes in tunnel projects timely and accurate,meet the needs of visualization development for digital mining technology from two-dimensional to three-dimensional virtual reality, provides visual spatial information services for the mine planning, mining tracking, project management, production and safety.Realize this system is premised on the establishment of a mine visualization platform,and the tinnel visualization is the key technology to build this platform. This paper analysis the characteristics of underground tunnels, according to the actual situation of tunnels, established line tunnel and curve tunnel, link tunnel, vertical tunnel, trigeminal tunnel, binary tunnel six model based on tunnel midline, meanwhile designed a kind of general data structures for different sections types, designed the corresponding algorithm for acquisition data of six kinds of cross-section model based on the section method.Finally, used java3d language programming the model algorithm, realize the tunnel three-dimensional visualization, provides a new method for building tunnel three-dimensional model in establishing digital mining three-dimensional visualization platform.On this basis, the focus on the following research:1. According to the actual situation of underground tunnels designed several tunnel models and data structures.2. Designed of the appropriate modeling algorithms for various tunnel model. 3. Designed and implementationed the calculation of coal reserves based on delaunay triangulation and the calculation of storage control based on mined areas and mine recovery rate data.4. Designed and implementationed mine three-dimensional visualization platform, and on this basis integrated with mine personnel positioning system and mining production remote monitoring system database development the underground mining three-dimensional positioning and automatic monitoring system.
