Application And Research Of UML For Smartphone Development

Smartphone will become the best mobile communication terminals, but the proportion level of Smartphone in the mobile phone market depends on its development approach quality. As a typical embedded system, it is of a common problem in the embedded system development, the purpose of this article is to design Smartphone development methodology, which is based on the development of UML and uses this method to complete the development of SMS application. This paper studies the development of UML in the embedded system's superiority and shortcoming, combines with object-oriented design patterns for the Smartphone applications development to raise a named Smartphone model, makes it instantiation in the article mobile phone development platform Android, and tests the effectiveness established UML models tested, finally according to the valid UML class diagrams and component diagrams generates code framework of SMS application, combines with the UML activity diagrams to complete the method of SMS implementation and then gives the running renderings of SMS application program in the Android emulator. Through this study wants to demonstrate the following conclusions: using the good design patterns in the development of Smartphone application which can reduce the duplication of the same issues so as to shorten development time; the Smartphone development center shifts from the implementation code to the system model, which makes test system easily, and also offers reliable data and models for later system maintenance and system upgrades.
