This paper proposes a data acquisition system of WSN for special needs according to the characteristics and requirements of large-scale structural health monitoring. In this article, multi-source data of WSN and real-time synchronous acquisition of multi-source data are features of this article, and time synchronization protocol and the MAC layer protocol design are the innovations of this paper.First, WSN time synchronization protocol of WSN has been studied in this paper, and a time synchronization algorithm HLTN for clustering network is proposed. In terms of energy consumption, the algorithm focus Most of the communication overhead and computing function on active power supplied cluster head and Sink node under the premise of un-reducing the accuracy to save the communication overhead of sensor nodes as much as possible, and saves the biggest problem of energy costs. On the NS-2 platform, the algorithm HLTN is simulated. Simulation results show that the time synchronization algorithm has higher synchronization accuracy, precision consistent application of this article.Second, the MAC layer protocol has been studied considering from the energy consumption and scalability, and a CDMAC protocol based on clustering network model is designed combining with CSMA mechanism and TDMA mechanism, this paper analyzes the performance of the protocol, and the result shows that the wake/sleep mechanism reducing energy consumption greatly, prolong the life cycle of the node and with good expansibility.Finally, various types of WSN multi-source data have been analyzed, and the multi-source data synchronization acquisition program has been designed. The problem of real-time synchronous acquisition and avoid collecting data transmission conflicts are solved using of time synchronization algorithms and MAC layer protocol. And at last, in the sensor nodes, the packet format of collected data is defined to preparing further processing and analysis for PC.
