The condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system of key dynamic plant has a very important significance in ensuring the security industry production safety, improving the utilization ratio and prolonging the service of life of plant. With the widely used of the monitoring and diagnosis system, the various plant of the industrial production process has a higher demand, especially in the cluster and intelligent aspects.This paper applied the plug-in software development methods to the large remote monitoring and diagnosis system. A function module can be implemented as a plug-in file, and the plug-in based system can be flexible configured according to specific application needs, that will be a customizable and intelligent system. The application of plug-in software development can increase the parallelism, improve the code reusability, reduce the dependency between modules, improve the development efficiency and reduce the maintenance costs.Based on the research of the fault case key structure of dynamic plant, this paper applied the Case-Based Reasoning method in the fault diagnosis field of key dynamic plant, did research in the method of calculating the weight of symptoms in case and the method of calculating the similarity of case, developed the Case-Based reasoning fault diagnosis system, which solved the problems of Rule-Based reasoning system, improved the accuracy and efficiency of fault diagnosis.
