The radars are wide-used in the airplane, warship and aerial defence systems. It is necessary for ELINT Systems and ECM System to have the ability to analyze and process all kinds of special radar signals in order to meet the requirement of the electronic war in the future. For the purpose of identify the radar signals and enhance the disturbing effect to the foe radar,we need to pick-up the detail parameters from the radar signals. The intra-pulse characters analysis is an effective way to get these parameters. We can measure the frequency and bandwidth and modulating coefficient and the coding rule of the signals. From these parameters, we can identify a radar signal exactly and estimate the threat grade of the foe radar. In the thesis we choose some radar signals which use the usual modulating mode, such as LFM, 2FSK, BPSK and QPSK. There are many methods to deal with the signals. The methods of Instantaneous auto-relation and Short-time Fourier transform are introduced in detail. The advantages and disadvantages of these algorithms are given. Base on these theory, a new project is proposed, we use the KAY method to deal with the pulse signals. The method measures signal's instantaneous frequency through differentiating instantaneous phase. We can use the KAY method combine with correlative phase accumulation method to get the time-frequency distributing curve of the pulse signal. Base on the curve, we can recognize the modulating mode and measure the parameters of the signal. Then we give the simulation result of the algorithm. At last, we designed the hardware platform. On the platform, the algorithm can be realized in DSP. With the mature framework, the platform can be applied in engineering. The abundant resource on the platform assure that the algorithm can work in the hardware successfully.
