Meta Search Engine Based On BP Network

In the 21st century, the Internet has a huge amount of information, growing at an alarming rate, while the existing search engines can't effectively search this information. The formation of the main reasons for this situation is the following two aspects: First, people retrieve specific information, because of the attributes of the Information Resources, rapid expansion and discrete distribution; it became more and more difficult. Second, existing search engine technology is fatal flaws, so they can't achieve the purpose of personalized search. The most important criterion to measure a search engine is recall and precision. Existing search engine usually has defect of low recall and precision, and can't fully meet the search requirements of people. Meanwhile, in the 21st century, energy shortages and environmental problems become more and more serious. In the field of mineral resources, lots of the technologies are still being used, which can cause serious pollution, has low efficiency, and should be out, but their alternative technologies has existed for a while. Because of information congestion, the new technologies have not been found. Therefore, the field of mineral resources, the meta search engine related technology research has great significance and practical significance.To manage the shortcomings of existing search engines, this paper mainly has two aspects. First, the existing search engines, has low average coverage rate, less than 20%, while coverage among search engines are quite different. These problems, the coverage / rates shortfall can be solved through the integration of multiple search engine search results. Meta Search Engine by calling multiple search engines to search, can solve coverage problems and improve the recall problem. Second the specific user has different requirements for information retrieval, but also has certain regularity. BP network was introduced into the second search on the search results, thus improving precision.In this paper, based on the meta search engine, we do some research on BP network in the field of mineral resources ,we study the related theme of the field of mineral resources to determine relevance of search results, Members of the search engines to achieve the propose of personalized search.
