Along with the rapid development of computer technology and network, mobile communication has been popularized. The mobile terminal business which is represented by mobile phones has demonstrated amazing developing speed. The emergence of this new‐generation communication mode not only changes the original living habits of people, but also requires more for the design and development of mobile phones.Under such a technical background, the interactive design of new‐generation smart phones has gained more and more comprehensive attention from all walks of life.In addition, people's need for mobile phones develop from easy functional needs to multi‐angled experience‐based needs which center around users.From the current market needs, we can see that when people choose mobile phones, they don't simply consider from the perspective of function, more importantly, they consider from the perspective of psychology, and they pay more attention on the emotional appeal that can be experienced from mobile phone products.This asks us to consider more about the emotional experience of products when we develop products.This paper probes into the interactive design of new‐generation smart mobile phones based on such a research background. And from the perspective of user experience and the emotional experience of uses, this paper analyses users' needs for smart mobile phones and the interactive design of smart mobile phones.Making use of the empirical study method and taking the specific research case of iPhone, this paper analyzes the emotional experience of the interactive design of iPhone, and also expounds the concrete function of emotion in the interactive design of iPhone.It is hoped that this paper will provide some reference to know about the emotional appeal of current users to mobile phones, and offer help to the requirement development of users and the design of user‐based smart mobile phones.
