RFID Secure Protocol Research

RFID, radio frequency identification technology, is an automatic identification technology, by way of non-contact radio frequency to have two-way data communi cation. It can identify and acquire relevant data with a wireless real-time read and it has large capacity and high-speed data processing and other capabilities and hi ghly automated features. So it has been widely applied to the retail industry, logist ics and supply chain management, library management and transportation fields, an d it becomes one of effective technologies applying to a ubiquitous computing env ironment. However, there is a hidden trouble in the applications of RFID, which i s lack of security mechanisms.The research of article is based on lack of security mechanisms in the applica tions of RFID. It firstly describes the concept, development process and applicatio ns of RFID, the structure of RFID system, the principle of RFID system and faci ng the potential safety problems of RFID and the research situation of security str ategy; then, the article proposes a mutual authentication protocol which is improve d basing on current HB family authentication protocols; secondly, an ownership tra nsfer security protocol is proposed according to the application of products transfer embedded RFID tags with the security and privacy of the RFID tags ownership t ransfer in practice; finally, it also proposes a statistics protocol using RFID which is based on the application in practice that needs to statistics some properties abou t the objects while the results of statistics are reliable and the privacy of the obje cts could be protected.
