The Design And Implementation Of The Integrated Resource Management System

Along with the rapid development of the telecommunication industry, the increasing scale of communication network and the expansion of new types of services, the requirements of many kinds of new services for network support are constantly improving, the traditional network management models have many shortcomings at the aspects of the service providing rate and the utilization of the resources.As an operation support system of the background of the telecom operators, The integrated resource management system(IRMS) can provide management of the whole network's resources, and help the enterprise to realize the information sharing of all kinds of resources. The design of the system's function is based on the demand of the operator in this paper, and the division of the function domain also use this demand as the fundamental basis. The core technology of system structure design is the J2EE framework, and the realization of this system use the way of layering and modularization. we adopt the method of connecting NE directly to implement the data acquisition of switching network and synchronous mapping to implement the data acquisition of the radio network. Using the method of synchronous mapping to get the resource data of traffic network management have a high efficiency, because we just have to edit the mapping tables between the IRMS and the TNM; At the layer of module management, the modeling middleware realize dynamical module management, in this way, we can separate the module management from the layer of application through the GOAT and the client of model editor, the data will be more stable, also we can put new service and business into operation instantly by refreshing module. The interface between the IRMS and EOMS unify the process of the circuit scheduling and confirmation of resource scheduling into IRMS, therefore, the IRMS can realize centralized management of resources and the scheduling of all kinds of resources and services.By combining with standard business process, the IRMS able to give powerful support to the foreground for the requirements of customers, more than that, the IRMS also can provide many services to the operator's department such as design, planning, construction of projects, management of assets and so on.
