Design And Implementation, Training-type Driving Simulator Driving Patterns Induced

As society developing and people's living standards improving, it is an inevitable trend that the drivers became non-professional as the result of the strong-intensive vehicle, the high-speed driving and the family-uesd car, It caused so large the number of road traffic accidents, especially the high ratio caused by the drivers who has less than 3 years driving experience, that indicated some deficiencies on the training of the drivers. Training driving simulator at home and abroad are used "after correction" mode, making a new trained driver not deeply understand the traffic laws, resulting in the weak safety awareness, easily leading to road traffic accidents. Induction driving mode putting the "pre-reminder" function into the existing training system:not only trains the driver's driving skills, but also enhances the education's level of traffic safety, moreover, improves the road safety awareness of drivers. Therefore, how to realize the "pre-reminder" function in induction driving mode and how to apply it to practical training system of automobile driving simulator was the main contents of this article.Firstly, through the summary of the actual driving training's contents, the induction driving mode was disparted into three kinds:the operation induction driving, traffic laws and traffic safety awareness induction driving. And by studying the relationship between speed and traffic safety, it was determined that speed was the most important factor of the traffic accidents, as the result, the induction speed driving mode was mainly for induction. Secondly, through researching and analysising, induction driving module was designed into pre-induction driving, line induction driving and intersection induction driving, and then set their parameter and designed the algorithm according to their characteristics. Again, using the dynamic link library in VC++6.0. accessed the induction driving module to the driving training system of driving simulator, then designed the static scene, the type and parameters of the collision detection to achieve the "pre-reminder" function.Finally, the criteria of induction driving mode was designed and used for the specific application of three kinds of induction mode in training driving simulator. The initial function of the virtual trainer was realized.The results of this study was to put the induction driving mode into training automobile simulator, which not only enhanced the traffic safety level of the education, but also improved the road safety awareness of drivers. More importantly, as it would prevent road traffic accidents, the study has important practical significance.
