The induction log is one of the most effective methods to determine the resistance of formation; the array induction tool overcomes the shortcomings of conventional resistance logging, such as: insufficient information, the shallow exploring scope, the low differentiation and etc. And the precision measuring of the formation resistance has been achieved. With the development of the project of the high definition array induced tool of the China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation, three key problems are thoroughly studied in this thesis, which are the determination of Wire Telemetry System (WTS) data transmission protocol, the realization of the compression algorithm of induction logging data and the skin effect correction method research.Firstly, the theory of induction log and the structure of array induction tool are introduced. The practical improvement of the array induction tool principle prototype has been implemented. In order to connect the array induction tool with the Atlas 5700 surface systems, this thesis has analyzed and determined the detailed criterion about data transmission of the WTS based on the massive experiments. Based on this criterion, system software is designed and applied. After the debugging of software and the joint testing of the entire system, achieve match for 5700 surface systems.Secondly, according to the characteristic of induction logging data and the requirement of algorithm, this thesis adopted a algorithm based on μ-4095 23 broken lines approximate methods to achieve array induction logging data compression. Under condition of limited resources, Based on DSP, a scheme of fast realization has been used to satisfy the request of algorithm operating speed. The practical application indicated that: the algorithm occupy fewer resources and is easy to implement, with quick running rate as well as small distortion.Finally, in view of the insufficiency of current skin effect correction algorithms, an iterative algorithm to correct skin effect is introduced, and a improvement scheme is proposed. The simulation result shows that: the improved α-iteration algorithm not only enhances the correct performance in the high conductivity formation, but also achieves certain versatility. Thus, the algorithm can apply directly to the traditional induction tool base on the parameter choice.
