With the increasing competitions in business today, it has become a first class challenge for the enterprise leaders to attract gifted employees, to allocate appropriate human resources, to lower the cost of management and usage of human resources, thereby enhancing the core competitiveness of the enterprise. Over the years, one of the fundamental corporate resources - human resources have been separated from the core management architecture. It is only when the human resources system were taken into the global ERP architecture will the entire corporate ERP really get full fledged coverage of the entire business management areas. The functionality of human resource management (HRM) would also grow from a single payroll accounting, personnel management and other traditional table alignment into a full range integrated solution in the whole system.This dissertation focuses on the CityOne ERP & DSS system, especially the HRM subsystem. The subsystem is mainly in charge of the information of employees in the company of Dushitong, in addition to the integrated query and statistical functions, in order to provide decision support for the personnel management. The system follows a C/S architecture, uses SQL Server 2008 as the database server, and PowerBuilder 11 as the client development tool. PowerBuilder 11 is exploited as a dedicated SQL Server database interface MSS SQL Server as the back-end database connection.Software engineering theories about the software development process have been applied such as the requirement analysis, general design, detailed design, final implementation and testing process. Each stage of the process consists of solid work and corresponding documentation. The work of the dissertation can be summarized as follows: To sum up, the system not only provides comprehensive human resource management functions, but also provides a wealth of statistical query functions, personnel management for the company to provide decision support, will become the city through the process of corporate information technology an important part.1 The requirement analysis of the CityOne ERP system, especially the HRM subsystem. Through the interview of the state of the company's HRM and the state of the art on the development of the modern enterprise management systems, the requirement analysis clarified the entire ERP system functionalities, such as the employees personal file management, job management, training management, attendance record and performance appraisal functions, as well as an integrated query and statistical functions.2 The global system design, the detailed subsystem design, and the implementation of the entire HRM system. From the analysis of functional requirements, the thesis described the design of the corresponding module structure of the HRM system and the various data flow diagram data flow between the modules, in addition to the design of the interface between each module and between the subsystems and other subsystems of information exchange standards. PowerBuilder has been used to develop the system's basic functionality of each module.3 The detailed back-end database design. Corresponding to the system module design, the system backend data has been classified. Via ER diagram, the design of the database has been presented. With SQL Server 2008 database has been design and implementation.The technical break force lies in the usage of the trigger. When there are operations such as add, delete or update to the database tables, the system should automatically catch the event and the trigger should be activated in order to maintain data integrity, or some other special data processing. This has been achieved by the usage of the DELETE trigger the INSTEAD OF trigger.In conclusion, the dissertation describes the design and implementation of the HRM subsystem of the CityOne ERP&DSS system, which provides comprehensive HRM functionalities and a wealth of statistical query functions, as the decision support for the company senior committee. The HRM subsystem will contribute a lot to the digitalization of the company.
