Top Drive Drilling Simulator Graphics System Realization

Top drive drilling simulator graphics system is a modern electronics, communication technology, graphics technology, to simulate the drilling equipment, computers and computer software as a tool to simulate the drilling platform operating training system, mainly used for drilling oil and gas industry technical staff of the experiment, training and assessment. For a more realistic simulation of the drilling process, the need for a corresponding display screen drilling scene in order for the trainees to create a realistic drilling environment, to achieve the purpose of simulation training. To achieve this, need to study three-dimensional scene during drilling dynamic operation. In this paper, oil drilling technology, in-depth study and understanding, based on the use of current advanced computer technology, digital simulation technology and multimedia technology, the oil drilling process was simulated.On this basis, focusing on virtual reality software in achieving the realization of the drilling process.This virtual reality software to solve the drilling process to achieve practical application, using the corresponding algorithm to achieve the operating results of different operations, which is the focus of the research paper:1. Using the Lagrange interpolation algorithm to solve when the drill pipe and out of the rotation pole rod box problem.2. Using AABB bounding box algorithm and three-dimensional frame algorithm to solve simulation of the drilling operation of the system when the collision occurred.3. Using the A* path finding algorithm to solve the flow selection problem of the mud in the virtual manifold, simulated the situation that the different valves open, the mud flowed in the virtual manifold.4. Using virtual characters to complete the Operation of equipment to achieve some of the drilling operation process.This realization of the simulation the normal drilling process from drilling, drill, drilling, and incident handling process to improve the top drive drilling simulation training have some reference.
