In the 21st century, the core of economic development in china is industrialization and modernization. Because of this, the important cultivation objective of Universities should be localed in the cultivation of excellent engineer. The cultivation of outstanding engineers needs reform and innovation in higher education, also needs reasonable use of online education platform. With the development of information technology and Internet, new network learning system with advanced WEB technologies and knowledge management concept has become the development direction of the learning platform.Guided by "Educational Training Plan of Excellent Engineer", this paper proposes the competency model of excellent engineer, and combines this model with scientific knowledge management theory. Based on these, the dynamitic knowledge network learning system is designed and implemented. In aspects of using internet to realize excellent engineers cultivation in education and industry and relieving trek phenomenon of learners, the construction of this system has actively and profound significance. The specific research contents and research result as follows:1. This paper divides knowledge network learning system into five major subsystems:knowledge network management, knowledge information resources management, search engine, question&answer section and project management subsystem. This paper analyzes the role and use case of system, and establishes static and dynamic model by UML2. In this paper, professional knowledge and knowledge relationship are analyzed, and knowledge network model is built. All about these make learners have a clear and overall grasp to the knowledge architecture of professional field and their learning degree, and relieve trek phenomenon of learners in some degree.3. This paper combines the powerful full-text search technology of Lucene.NET and the mature database storage technology of SQL Server, and improves the segmentation algorithm and retrieval results ranking algorithm. Based on these, search engine subsystem is designed and realized. This subsystem not only meets individual needs, but also guarantees search result rapid and accurate.4. About the realization of this system, this paper adopts B/S three-layer framework, and full use of ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Silverlight, Lucene.NET technology and the object-oriented programming method. Finally, this paper takes system application in automatic control field as an example to verify the commonality and feasibility of this system.
