In the 21st Century, more and more competition in industry is not only focusing on the company size, production line type as well as product quality. All companies are pursuing faster speed, higher efficiency and lower cost. To keep the sustaining of company's competitiveness, companies are seeking the best way to building up a Standard Operation System by utilizing Information System. By this way, companies are getting the best balance between cost, quality as well as competitiveness. Among the complex production processes, Product Packing is one of the most important process steps before shipping product to customers. The target of this paper is to introduce one project of converting manually non-standard Operation to a perfect Standard Operation which is basing on a robust Information System. To achieve this level, this project finds the best optimized packing modeling through a series of experiments, analysis as well as optimization. The project provides an absolutely perfect solution for improving the production efficiency and customer satisfactions as well as cost reduction.This project implements a page-based flow management system to optimize Packing Technology Development Program, constructs a basing on B/S architecture distributed database-cross and platform-cross system. In the meantime, it combines the UML language and Web application development. It develops Visual Modeling, involving, Case Diagram, Class Diagram, Timing Diagram, Component Diagram by utilizing UML. It also identifies the system requirements, describes the system design.In the paper, company's current situation of Packing System is analyzed deeply. The project designs the solution basing on the analysis and comparison to existing Packing Operation. The target of this project is to design a solution to solving the most difficult situation of company Packing Operation. The paper describes the Date-Coding and Database Modeling building up process in details. The project is basing on the Packing System Optimization, instructed by Packing Standard Operation system, involving Packing Box Specifications identification, Packing Placing Ordering, etc. The system includes Packing Box Selection Algorithm, User Interface, Packing Box Configuration Interface, Controlling Interface of Production System, Automatic Inspection, Customer Order Statistics Queries, Reports, etc. The system is a packing instruction system which has the feature of practical and expansion capability. The technology used in the design is basing on Page-Flow Technology. By this technology, the design work is more prefect and more efficient. By utilizing above Packing Optimization Management System, the Network Division has improved her packing operation standardization significantly. The cost is getting down. Meanwhile, complains from customer on packing issue is also reduced a lot of. The system also provides a strong database supporting for Shipment Booking in Advanced. It reduces the transportation cycles dramatically. Through one year data collection and analyze on the system utilizing, we draw out the conclusion of the Packing Box Average Load Factor is improved from 51% to 74%. The customer satisfaction is also improved significantly.
