Research On Tissue Specificity Of Gene Expression And Its Service Platform

Identifing and analysing the gene expression pattern plays an important role inunderstanding the biological internal mechanism,designing targeted drug anddiagnosing disease.Although there are many gene expression data,Microarray geneexpression data,EST etc,how to divide the tissue specific gene from the geneexpression data is still not defined.To solve this problem,we integrate the currentmethods which used to analyse the expression data to make an analysis of theMicro-array and the EST data ,then we encapsulate the methods and result as a serviceplatform.Though the platform ,we can quickly get the tissue-specific genes.The main content of this paper is listed as follows:In order to divide the tissue-specific gene effectively, we used two differentexpression datas.MicroArray gene expresion data contains data of human's 84tissues,this paper uses SPM or Mean and variance to identify the tissue-specific.Wecompared the result of two methods,they have high coincide rate.EST expression datacontain data of human's 30 tissues ,we through calculate the Expression Enrichmentof data,using a p-value to judge whether a gene is tissue specific and get all thetissue-specific genes.At last,we compared the result the different expressiondata.Through analyzing ,we found that,the methods we used to divided tissue-specificgene has high coinside rate,they could be used to divide the tissue-specific gene fromdifferent aspects.In allusion to the current tissue specific platform provided single function,thispaper construct a service platform.This platform merge the species information,tissueand tissue relation,gene expression data,analyzing method and result,gene annotationetc together.This platform provide multiple tissue-specific gene query methods,Wecan quickly find the tissue-specific genes of one tissue,query which tissue the gene isexpressing specific and other detail information.This provide query tools fortissue-specific research.
