As the rapid development of computer technology, people's requirement on the quality and speed of computer-generated images is higher and higher. The texture mapping technology with moderate cost that can obviously improve the authenticity of images gradually becomes a research topic that people pays attention to. Distal technology is one of the hottest research topics on technologies and one of the most widely used technologies nowadays all over the world. Thanks to the research progress of"digital human", the extracting technology of digital three-dimensional models of human organs has become mature and simple. In addition, there are a large quantity of models for medical teaching aids kept in schools and hospitals all over the country. To have these models digitalized and added with textures will be significant for multimedia teaching, remote education, and construction of virtual surgery platform to visually produce a feeling of being immersed in the environment. Therefore, this paper carries out a research on the digitalization for models of liver organs and texture mapping technology and satisfies the needs of rendering authenticity.This paper firstly introduces the definition, classification and development of texture mapping technology. It briefly introduces the classification of texture function and sets forth current prevalent mapping technology and anti-aliasing technology. Parallax texture mapping technology, based on bump texture mapping technology, was recently put forward to realize surface roughness of substances. It improves the current displacement mapping technology which can't be applied in real-time rendering system because of excessive computing. This paper proposes an improved parallax texture mapping technology which can realize texture mapping on the surface of liver models more effectively to make the models after mapping be more vivid and with advantages of good real-time property and strong authenticity. All those key technologies referred to in this paper such as texture mapping technology, parallax texture mapping technology and virtualization technology for livers, etc provide better technological support for the actualization of virtual surgeries.Meanwhile, LOVS, on the basis of the liver organs of OpenGL, is developed by applying object-oriented programming ideas and VC++. This system integrates functions of texture mapping, texture registration, texture matching and texture output, etc. Taking the gathered texture of livers as living examples, this paper carries out many relevant experiments and shows the experimental results to implement forceful verification for relevant technologies and algorithm in this paper.
