Along with the development of information technology, hardware and the memory increasingly reduce packet price and function increasingly enhanced, embedded systems are increasingly popular. However, there are still some problems in embedded systems development processes. For example, some errors, which is introduced in the requirement phase, could only discovered in the final validation stage, different developers on system exist different unstanding, etc. These problems extended period of development, increased development costs and hard to guarantee the reliability of the development process, so it is greatly increased the difficulty of embedded system developing. Therefore, the research of these problems is meaningful.In this thesis, the author first was obtainted a variety of software tools which can be used in the Model-Based Design workflow based on the MATLAB/Simulink platform and analysis the method which can continuously test the embedded system in the process of design. Secondly, according to model-based design process, carried out Simulink model of DC motor with PID feedback control structures, and then through the test tool which provied by MATLAB/Simulink complete the validation of model algorithm; Finally, through the combination of automatic code generation technology and manual code not only realize the control algorithm which can run in the PROTEUS virtual hardware, but also through the hardware experimental results verify the correctness of the algorithm.
