For the development of infrared technology,more and more infrared systems are applied in the field,especially the focused infrared system. This thesis, mainly research on the three aspects of the infrared imaging technology, the most important signal processing technology of infrared system, IRFPA(Infrared Focal Plane Array), image process and the Architecture of image system.IRFPA is is a key part of modern infrared and thermal imaging system, leading the way the infrared industry. The first part of the thesis,the infrared detector was described, then IRFPA was presented in detail, and the tendency of IRFPA was also discussed.For reasons of raw materials, fabrication technology, working conditions and some other aspects, there is a requirement of infrared image process, especially the non-uniformity correction, blind point replacement and image enhancement.the image process algorithms is summarized and a image enhancement algorithm based on the integration control was put forward, which has advantages such as high enhancement effect, fast processing speed, easy for hardware realization and so on. This is the part two.In the part three,a Architecture of infrared image system based on FPGA was described.With the high performance FPGA hardware and the SOPC technology, The system can be applied to high frame rate, high resolution infrared imaging system, providing real time high quality infrared image with low power cost.Successful result was achieved in engineering. The effectiveness of algorithms and advancement of this system has been demonstrated.
