Application Of PKI Technology To The Bidding System

As China has been greatly promoting the informationize construction,the bidding system has already been gradually popularized in tendering Organizations all around the China. The construction field of project bidding is an industry which is so allergic to information security, it's important for the system constructor to certify for the information security,the identity anthentication and the access control,etc (including the tenderees,the bidders,the evaluation experts,the witnesses and so on) in the bidding process, while he is building the information system. Electronic Bidding Documents only to ensure the security, privacy and true integrity of the bidding in order to make a open, fair and equitable environment,to establish a good market order.On the background of the development of the construction field of project bidding, this paper is proposed to discuss the design and implementation of the PKI technology in bidding system.As the using of the PKI technology in the identity authentication,the access control and the certification for the confidentiality,the integrity and the incontestablity of the bidding information,the traditional bidding and tendering process has became a simple,convenient,fast and safe process to build a very safe information system which is involved in the design and management of the bidding documents and the identity authentication of exeperts. This system has the following specialities:Safe:It has used the CA Authentication mechanism,the digital signature,the Public Key Encryption,and the Secret Key Encryption technology to certify for the identity authentication of the system users,the confidentiality and integrity of the transmission and storage of the bids,and the incontestablity of bidders and tenderers. High-effective:The bidders don't need to carry many bids to the evaluating present,which reduces the cost dramatically,uses material resources sparingly,and increases the working efficiency.
