The rapid development of science, technology and the competing of military affairs brings exigent demand for radar performance, so more requirement is needed for receiver which is key part of radar. It includes: more channels, broadband and high resolution ratio, high integration level, high reliable and high anti-interference. The receiver technology includes frequency conversion, high accuracy frequency synthesizer, digitial IF sampling and so on. With the applying of new material, new industrial art, the successful manufacture of high performance and small size devices, high integration level receiver can be realized.In this paper, the fundamental structure and main technique parameter of C-waveband receiver is introduced. The key parts of receiver is analysised by simulation. Momentum which is a method for solving electromagnetic field boundary is used to simulate and compute circuits.The key parts of receiver are analysised and designed by ADS(Advanced Design System), then the key circuits are designed to PCB(Printed Circuit Board) and tested. First, basic principle of splitter is introduced and simulation is finished. The insertion loss and isolation is tested by spectrum analyzer. Second, lowpass filter, phase shifter, combiner which included in image rejection mixer are simulated. The conversion loss and degree of image rejection is tested by spectrum analyzer. At last, IF filter is designed and simulated, automatic gain control is realized by NC attenuation. Automatic gain control and filter is tested by spectrum analyzer.
