Design And Realization Of Working Passage Management System Based On Face Detection

Airport security in modern society is always a hot topic. Safety management ofthe airport staff channels is a quite significant part to ensure airport security. However,there are many disadvantages with reference to the traditional management way whichis executed by security staff. Resolving this problem is really urgent to maintain thestaff channels safety.Based on the on-site analysis, combined with face recognition technology, accesscontrol systems and database technology, this paper demonstrates a new staff channelsecurity management system by .net technology. At the channel entrance, facerecognition technology is used to identify the staff. The basic principle is based onfacial features detection and identification, the images captured are analyzed andprocessed firstly, then compared with the data in the database. The right ones shouldlead to the access, otherwise the alarm system will work and close the channel.This paper describes the algorithm and background of the face detection, facerecognition and specific technical applications of alarm access control system. Furtherinformation is demonstrated by studying the possibility of running channelmanagement based on face recognition system. In summary, through this securesystem, reliable and safe management of the airport staff channels to ensure airportsecurity could be possible.
