Research On Situation Evaluation Of E-government Extranet Based On Index System

E-government Extranet with a complex structure has become the most extensive coverage and the largest public network of government in our country.It has an important significance in promoting government supervision and service level. Meanwhile, the government faces issues such as external network attacks, internal misuse, network vulnerability and other security issues, which make a higher network requirements to E-government Extranet supervision. Build the security situation awareness system of E-government Extranet to detect and dispose network attacks timely, assess the security situation scientifically to provide the basis for the management and protection of networks and systems to prevent the spread of cyber threats is a priority.In this paper, important factors which caused changes of network situation are extracted from a number of network data to form network situation evaluation index. The index are fused and evaluated based on the index system, the E-government Extranet security situation is measured by security exponential. This major work includes the following aspects:1. Considering the factors which impact the security of E-government Extranet, we construct a comprehensive and common network situation evaluation index system from the point of view of basic function, vulnerability and threaten. The index system configuration method is studied, and we achieve flexible and dynamic configuration of the architecture and attributes of the index nodes to meet the different requires of each department of the government.2. Quantization of the index data and the calculation of index weight are studied, so that the index data with a variety of different sources has a unified measure range; research and design posture fuse computing method of E-government Extranet security situation based on the index system and cascaded network to achieve security situation assessment.3. Base on the above content, we design and implement the situation assessment subsystem of the E-government Extranet security situation awareness system, the constituent modules of the subsystem have been described in detail, and finally the calculation of indicators and effectiveness of the method are verified through a simulated attack experiments.
