As the information revolution occurred and continued development of large-scale, fiber-optic cable began to be widely used in networks. "Light into the copper retreat," has become the mainstream of various network structures. In the access network, the various optical access network solutions have slowly begun to mature. EPON access network structure, which has been widely used in Asia-Pacific region, has been in continuous development and progress. 10GEPON network research is in full swing. But now 10G uplink burst technology is not yet mature, making the cost of 10GEPON greatly increased. To address this downlink transmission rate asymmetry, WDM technology has been introduced into the upstream transmission of 10GEPON, which produced an access network solution named WEPON.Based on the study of the WEPON access network, we learned the topology of such network and uplink and downlink transmission. Considering the dynamic bandwidth allocation of upstream transmission, in combination with the idea of class of services, we make out two kinds of dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm: the adaptive services'assistance dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm and timely balance of wavelength dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm. Finally, we use the network simulation tool named OPNET to simulate these two algorithms. According to the results, we find the timely balance of wavelength dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm is superior to the adaptive services'assistance dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm in delay.
