Recently,the frequent disasters of earthquake,fire or terrorist attack give human-being a serious wake-up call,we realize that the safety problem in pubic space especially in the crowds is inevitable. So the training of public sense of crowd evacuation is vital to this point. For instance, the Shanghai Expo and Asia Games in Guangzhou, the crowd evacuation of emergency is difficult to realize, given such situation, computer simulation has become the viable way to solve such problems, and an appropriate algorithm is the key in this topic.This paper is based on the cooperate project between Sun Yat-Sen University and XinWei Computer Science, LLC. Target to students on campus who has low sense of risk, incapability of self-protect and can be trained to make it. We conduct extensive literature review and make conclusion of the former theory, doing research specifically on the application of PSO algorithm in crowd evacuation emergency.This paper adopted Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm to simulate crowds movement, avoid the shortage of prevailing crowd evacuation simulation, and we make some proper modification of the original PSO algorithm, realize the facing difficulty of hitting on blocks, the stuck of crows, the slow of the movements, etc. We setup this simulation platform based on the conclusion of prevailing models and the analyze of their pros and cons, build a four-layer building scenario to do the modeling and simulating. So that we can have a clear view of this crow evacuation simulation. This program can run maximize 5000 people in 20 minutes, with mark on their directions and paths, offer a tentative solution to emergency in real life.
