As a key equipment of target motion simulation, Multi-target motion simulation system can not only provide comprehensive testing and physical simulation for research object by replicating target trajectories and simulating target motion characteristics, but also calibrate or check with high precision for a variety of precision measuring instruments or equipment.The paper takes a multi-target motion simulation system as the research object with the purpose of improving target space position accuracy and the system dynamic performance as the research purposes, the following studies conducted:Firstly, the overall structure of multi-target motion simulation system is analyzed and the system control scheme is determined. A controller combined expert PID control and predicted feedforward control is designed and then simulated by using approximate model of the controlled object. Simulation results show that the system accuracy requiremet can be satisfied and the contradiction between quick response and overshoot is solved. Also, the system tracking performance is improved.Secondly, for the structural characteristics of the system, the measuring method of triangular intersection and stereo vision are used to measure the static error of the spatial location and the dynamic error, respectively. To ensure the measurement accuracy, the factors affecting the measurement accuracy of the triangular intersection method are analyzed, the optimum measuring range is determined and the measuring experiment of the dynamic error of the spatial location based on the stereo vision is designed. The spatial position errors of the measured feature points are calculated by regression analysis and coordinate transformation principles. To establish the error compensation model, RBF neural network theory is used achieving the space position error compensation of the multi-target motion simulation system. The simulation results show that the accuracy of the system can be satisfied after compensation.Finally, according to the requirements of multi-target motion simulation system, the PC software platform is builded by using VC++. The software implementation technology, moder design method, software interface and its main flowchart is given in the paper. The dynamic parameters of the actual system are tested and adjusted by using PC application software and test software. The experimental results shows that the system designed meets the technical requirements.
