This paper studies on the visual characteristics of printed radial texture and simulative radial texture in terms of geometry, through Kansei engineering theory. Overall, this paper get the following conclusions.(1) Through investigation and analysis of 40 samples of printed radial texture in terms of visual mental characteristics, this paper selects 18 samples which are liked by most people.(2) Through investigation and analysis of 18 samples which are liked by most people in terms of visual physical characteristics, this paper find that radial texture can be divided into 3 kinds. Class I has an exquisite impression, the average of the thickness is 0.478mm, the average of the spacing is 3.233mm, the degree of density is 0.157. Class II has a graceful impression, the average of the thickness is 0.881mm, the average of the spacing is 5.801mm, the degree of density is 0.154. ClassIII has a coarse impression, the average of the thickness is 1.056mm, the average of the spacing is 8.706mm, the degree of density is 0.124.(3) Through investigation and analysis of simulative radial texture of 3 kinds in terms of visual mental characteristics, this paper find that the degree of density of 3 kinds simulative radial texture are 0.16,0.16,0.14, when the degree of preference is highest.(4) Through investigation and analysis of simulative radial texture of 3 kinds in terms of visual mental characteristics, this paper find that the thickness's degree of change of 3 kinds simulative radial texture are 0.04mm,0.04mm,0.06mm, the spacing's degree of change of 3 kinds simulative radial texture are 0.2mm,0.4mm,0.6mm, when the degree of preference is highest.(5) When angle of texture is smaller and angle's degree of change is smaller, the radial texture which have smaller thickness and spacing have a favoured impression. When angle of texture is bigger, and angle's degree of change is bigger, the texture which have bigger thickness and spacing also have a favoured impression.(6) When texture's curved shape is simpler, width of texture's curve is smaller, the radial texture which have smaller thickness and spacing have a favoured impression. When texture's curved shape is diverse, and width of texture's curve is bigger, the texture which have bigger thickness and spacing also have a favoured impression. |
