Expandable Matrix Computing DSP(FT-Matrix) has its especial feature of architecture including instruction set and register configure. Therefore, it requires its corresponding Assembler and Linker to implement the conversion that translate the assemble language source routine into the binary code for running diversified software such as operating system.Developping Assembler and Linker is one of many important component part in the research and implement work. Aimming at the feature of FT-Matrix including instruction set , register configure, instruction packet form, addressing mode, the functional unit and the other feature, especially the fact that FT-Matrix require the Assembler to output the mixing alterable length instruction and expanding macro assemble language, this paper had done a lot of analysis and research. Through understanding the COFF file format, BFD base, the frame construction of Assembler and Linker, we achieved Assembler and Linker base on FT-MatrixFT-Matrix, which is developped for the application of base station, Graph And Image Processing, needs plenty of test performance to be optimized and improved. The test performance of this paper shows two Graph And Image Processing arithmetic function examples. They are translated into the binary code by Assembler, then the binary code has to be inspected and verified by three ways. All the results shows that Assembler works well, the outputs is correct and the suitability is favorable.
