This thesis studies the features of the communication of the circles on the internet, which is represented by the groups of the Douban website. In the complex communicating process of people who are the users of the Douban website, the interaction is the key reason of the circles' formation. In huge amounts of information, the circles have their own characteristics, and this thesis focuses both on their structural features performing in the process of communication and the rules of the group members' contact. The same interests of the users is the key element that formats a circle on net. With the technical power of the internet, people come together in a circle with a clear border. They connect with each other and have a feeling of belonging to the circle they are in. So they have an intention to keep the circle's stability. The circles on the internet have clear members like the groups in real life, and its members are always more easily contact with other for they are on the internet. So it could be regarded as a group that is in the intermediate condition of real-life group and on-line group. The kind of circles has four main features:the members are voluntary; the communication is continued; the border is clear; the resources are shared.By collecting the data and analyzing them, I find that the leaders' power of the circle has these features:Its existence relies on the detailed things the users discuss; Stability; The visible power is not very obvious; The power is limited. The leaders of the circles on line get their power not by their awarded identity. They are equal to the other members in the communication process. This phenomenon is opposit to the real life as in real life the leader are intend to be in a higher position and have more respect from others. The leaders show their power in different ways when they are in different kind of topic. In easy topics, the leaders ask questions or pick a direction for others to discuss. In the two conditions, the leaders are intend to talk less in the former and more in the later to influence the development of the topic. In serious topics, for the topic is always professional, the leaders are requried to have more knowledge in the specific field. Their talking attract more members to join the discussion. The leaders again and again give comments in the topic to keep the discussion going on.By calculating the densities of different kind of circles of Douban website and analysing them I got three conclusions as the following:The denstity of easy circles is higher than the density of serious circles, and it means that the members in easy circles are more willing to connect with other members; When a circle has more member, its density is always higher. It means the scale of a cicrle guarantee infuluence its activity; The serious circle that has thousands members has the highest density in serious circles and has a much higher density in easy circles. The thesis also focuses on the relationship between the members of the an circles and the influences between different relationships of members.
