Automation,high precision and wide applicability are important guides for verification of large dimension. Based on digital image processing, laser interferometer length measurement, wireless motion control and precision automated measurement of environment parameters, the manual compare measurement system is gradually replaced by automate direct measurement system along with the Optical. Mechanical,Electrical technology progress.Under the measurement requirements, a set of automated verification process is designed. Based on the logic discrimination and directly measurement function of digital image processing, system realizes the static and dynamic auto-detection to line measures. Different algorithms of image enhancement, image binarization and center groove recognition are used with lines which have different characteristics. For the rapid realization of direct measurements, a method based on image correlation and cross-correlation function is used, through this method pixel size can be evaluated by laser interferometer directly.The results show that, system based on digital image processing is applicable to most large line measures, and the uncertainty of measurement meets the requirements of standards. It has practical value in verification work.
