In order to meet the requirements of the production process, to achieve the goal of safe, economic and reasonable combustion, the gas-solid two-phase flow of power plant coal powder transmission pipeline testing become an important research topic. Electrical capacitance tomography is considered to be the most extensive research two-phase flow detection technology because of its advantage such as no invasion, simple structure, low cost, better safety and easy realization and so on. However, in practical applications, itself "soft field" characteristics and the inverse problem ill-posedness will seriously affect the reconstructed image. In recent years, in order to improve the accuracy and real-time of ECT system, many reconstruction algorithms have been studied. But the accuracy and real-time can't be guaranteed together. To solve the above problem, this paper to 12-electrode electrical capacitance tomography system as the main objects, and made detailed study and simulation from two directions.(1)This paper provides a new image reconstruction algorithm, namely improved semi-iterative algorithm. According to the analysis of simulation results, this algorithm both retained the Landweber iterative algorithm high precision characteristic, and overcame the shortcoming, because the slow convergence and semi-convergence to cause the system bad real-time capability. Through the traditional LBP algorithm and the new complex LT algorithm contrastive analysis, in a way, the semi-iterative algorithm to enhance the ECT system's accuracy and real-time, had the actual application value.(2)In this paper, the image fusion technology based on wavelet transform is applied in the ECT system. The image fusion technology was adopted to images obtained by rapid LBP algorithm and pre-iterative algorithm. The results indicated that the system obtained upper precision in a short time, after the image fusion technology has been applied in the ECT system. A new method for the ECT system's research is proposed.
