With the expansion of enterprise's scale, the collaboration of the various subsystems within the enterprise is closer. Employees need to receive and complete different types of tasks internal and feedback timely. Some tasks are closely related with other management information systems. At present, many large-scale enterprises' information systems are made of islands of automation, which are composed of a number of application systems that are isolated from the overall business. Information among these systems is blocked. It will greatly improve the efficiency if we can build bridges among these islands. Therefore it needs the software which can integrate multiple application systems that run on the different operating systems and different databases. Message oriented middleware is just the solution of these interconnection issues. It builds security, stable and efficient bridges for the data exchange among different applications. Message oriented middleware provides a reliable and easy-to-use solution for messaging in the heterogeneous network environment, based on the store and forward mechanisms of message queue, including the queue manager, queue, channel, message and other objects. In this paper, with the actual situation of a large enterprise, a set of integration solutions of the enterprise's heterogeneous systems are studied and an integrated task management system is developed. By the integration of the four subsystems (ERP, PDM. CAPP and MES) with the message oriented middleware, the problem that the data can't be passed among the existing information systems is solved. The data exchanging between other systems and the task management system is also solved and it facilitate the further integration of these systems.Task is the core of the integrated task management system. Tasks are decomposed top-down. To successfully complete the tasks within the mandate, all departments feed back their tasks'progress by the task management system. It greatly enhances the efficiency of the enterprise's controls on tasks and strengthens the enterprise's capacity of co-processing of tasks. By the integration with message oriented middleware, it opens up the data transfer among the existing information systems and realizes the seamless integration between the existing information systems and the task management system, so the data generated in the production process and the information related to the production can be successfully passed. Through the unified management interface, the manager can easily query the information associated with the production tasks existing in the various systems to comprehensively and accurately master the situation of production.
