Blue laser have important applications in the laser holographic display, high-density optical storage, underwater communication and detection and the biological field. But the 447nm blue laser has a special advantage. According to the reseach of the Quasi-CW sum frequency 447nm blue laser,we brought about a new saturable absorption maerial V:YAG crystal passive-Q-switched intracavity sum frequency and abtained the outputting of the Quasi-CW 447nm blue laser. Specific contents are as follows:1. Taking advantage of the theoretical analysis,we got the technological approaches of the 1.3μm fundamental frequenly Quasi-cw Laser. Comparing the different technology advantages and disadvantages of Q-switched operation mode 1.3μm,we analyzed the new saturable absorption maerial V:YAG crystal to achieve Quasi-CW 1.3μm to obtain the probability of the laser of 447nm.2. According to the phase-matching conditions and Sellmeier equation in biaxial crystals, we have got the matching methods of blue laser,the effective nonlineary coefficient and the walk off angle,an so sn,by researching of the KTPcrystal and the LBO crystal,according to the therotical research.3. Based on sum frequency resonant three wave coupling equations,we have analyzed efficiency of different power density on it at the moment of the KTP crystal and LBO crystal for sum frequency generation..4. Based on the principles of high efficiency sum frequency generation, theoretical calculation and actual measurement Nd:YAP crystal thermal lens focal length in the high-power LDA side-pumped, as the basis for the design cavity structure of the plane-plane cavity and confocal cavity.5. we have made some experiment researches on the character of the Quasi-CW 447nm blue laser and measured the blue laser's average power, pulse width, repetition rate, beam quality and laser spectra with different cavity and crystals. Finally we obtained the maximum average power of 82mW, pulse width of 136ns, repetition rate of 3.19KHz of QCW 447nm blue laser. The blue laser peak power is 189W. The beam quality Mx2 value equaled 5.58 and My2 value equaled 5.31.
