With the rapid development of network application, information security is receiving increasing attention. PKI(Public Key Infrastructure) is a standard interface of network security, which can provides unified and clear security insurance of all kinds of applications.The absence of security is the main barrier of electronic business improvement. The PKI system is an important network security solution for Internet. This article discusses the security of a PKI-based electronic payment application of the model. Particularly analyzed electronic payment transaction flows, and produced each transaction stage flow chart. And analyzed the Request/Reply (Req/Res) news on each stage of transaction process, mainly discussed about the quite essential payment transaction news: initialization for purchase Request/Reply (PInitReq/PInitRes), payment authorization request/Reply(Preq/Pres),invites the funds Request/Reply(CapReq/CapRes),and the process of news production,transmission and confirmation.In this paper,PKI system is studied. Firstly, it studies the cryptograph technologies of PKI, including the traditional RSA algorithm and the advanced Elliptic Curve Cryptography(ECC). Secondly, this paper introduces the basic principle of PKI, including the structure, standards and trust model of PKI. In addition, the content of PKI is discussed such as PKI consists of multiple components,All components of PKI can be assembled to provide the services such as identity authentication, integrality, security, secure time-stamping, non-repudiation and so on.WPKI is the extension of the PKI technology in the wireless field. Regards to the characteristic of the wireless communications, it adopts the new encryption algorithm and the new WTLS certificate. And these methods improve the efficiency of the encryption and the decryption, and reduce the bandwidth of transmitting the certificate.This paper also gives a WPKI-based security scheme for mobile payment system, which solves the three major security issues in mobile payment system---authentication between the two sides in a transaction, data secrecy and denial of past activity. Meanwhile, this scheme improves the existing mobile payment approach by incorporating into it a bilaterally evaluation mechanism, which better ensure the security of mobile payment system.
