The Research On Space-time Coding Based On MIMO System

Space-time coding can effectively resist fading and increase the system capacity, besides,diversity gain, coding gain and high spectral efficiency can be won.lt is a key technology in MIMO system.In the paper, firstly, it introduces the single antenna and the multi-antennas Alamouti system. Next it analyzes the advantage and the disadvantage of space-time block codes(STBC),space-time trellis codes (STTC) and layered space-time codes (LSTC) in details. On the basis of STBC, the paper introduces QOSTBC.QOSTBC get the diversity gain no more than STBC,anyway, it can offer a higher transfer data rate. The space-time coding aboved is in the hypothesis of that the receiver can obtain the channel information. When the acquisition is difficult,the paper suggest us to use the DSTBC(Differential Space-Time block codes).Finally the paper analyzes The OFDM System and the STC-OFDM system,the combination of OFDM technology and MIMO in details.
